In this multi-media class instructor Abbeth Russell will guide us through an exploration of strange and wonderful surrealist art through history and practice. Surrealism is an art form that takes its inspiration from dreams and the subconscious mind. This class is an opportunity to delve into your imagination and bring the ideas and images that hide there on to paper and canvas. We will use surrealist drawing games and techniques to generate imagery for our own work.
This class is designed for teens in grade 7 and up (ages 13-18). It will be a fun, educational, and accessible class for young artists of all experience levels.
